Comparison of ATP luminometry systems
Food Safety and Hygiene, August 1998, referenced a paper in Journal of Food Protection, 61 (4) 1998 which described a method to perform in-house evaluation of ATP luminometry systems. Three commercially available systems were compared in the paper.
The principal of one of the system manufacturers has written a spirited response to the original paper. This response appears as a Letter to the Editor in Journal of Food Protection 61 (7) 1998. As is customary, the authors of the paper have been given the opportunity to reply and this is published in the same issue.
Readers who sought out the original paper may wish to follow this correspondence. Food Safety and Hygiene, June 1997, carried a review of two earlier papers on ATP luminometry the results of which have not been challenged by the manufacturers of equipment tested.
